Conventional fiber supplements have been on the market for years, however if you look closely at the label you'll see the majority of these fiber products are comprised mostly of inexpensive forms of soluble fiber, not a balanced ratio of both soluble and insoluble fiber. Consuming only soluble fiber can result in uncomfortable gas and bloating. So, while you might save some money with cheaper fiber products, it's your stomach and intestines that'll end up paying the price!
